Job summary

BDO USA seeks an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up with GAAP disclosures. You will act as client contact and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures.

The role requires three or more years in audit, a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and CPA eligibility or certification. Strong communication and supervision skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required.
• CPA certification or pursuit preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of prior audit experience, required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day in-charge duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up for audits.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers; communicate deficiencies to staff.
• Communicate with clients and prepare communications to the Audit Committee.
• Plan and execute Section 404 internal control audits; understand control environment.
