Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction in Raleigh, NC seeks an Associate Warden for Programs II to lead the Division of Institutions' program services at the women's prison.

You will oversee classification, chaplaincy, rehabilitation, education, and transitional programs, set procedures, supervise staff, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and productive operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of supervisory or management experience in correctional programs.
• Experience interpreting assessment results related to offender behavior and program needs.
• Experience applying departmental policies and procedures in correctional settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program services at NC Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh.
• Establish operating procedures and standards for all program services.
• Train staff in areas under supervision and guide budget planning.
• Lead offender classification processes ensuring policy-compliant decisions.
• Prepare reports and coordinate communication with stakeholders.
