Job summary

State of North Carolina - Adult Correction is seeking a Program Coordinator III at Warren Correctional Institution to lead ACA and PREA audits and coordinate internal compliance efforts. You will provide technical guidance to the Warden and supervise audits, inspections, and post orders to ensure alignment with division policies.

The role requires strong knowledge of prison operations, report writing, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Documented knowledge of prison policy and/or facility operations.
• Experience with report writing.
• Knowledge of federal PREA compliance procedures.
• Knowledge of audit and inspection procedures in corrections.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on guidance to section heads regarding ACA and PREA audits.
• Provide technical guidance to the Warden(s).
• Coordinate internal compliance audits, safety and health audits and inspections and region inspections.
• Serve as the Facility Public information officer and monitoring coordinator for strategic plan and KPIs.
• Collaborate with other prison leaders to develop strategies for improving operations using audit results.
