Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Supply Chain, Distribution & Logistics to lead complex projects for private equity portfolios across the US. You will assess networks, optimize inventory, and drive regional and global supply chain improvements with a data-driven approach.

You will collaborate with PE leadership, develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution, and contribute to higher EBITDA through actionable cost and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4-7+ years of consulting or industry operating experience.
• Hands-on experience in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, or 3PL operations.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership.
• Analyze supply chain network design and footprint to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop high-level planning models to support inventory optimization across networks.
• Support sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing and vendor negotiations.
