Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice seeks a Senior Associate, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead client engagements across manufacturing and distribution networks. You will analyze network design, optimize inventory and transportation, and collaborate with PE leadership to deliver measurable value.

Travel may be required; candidates need 4–7+ years of consulting or industry experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Understand client supply chain across manufacturing and distribution locations.
• Develop structured approaches to assess improvement opportunities.
• Analyze network design and footprints for cost, inventory and service.
• Experience with 3PL sourcing and RFI/RFP processes.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering large, complex client engagements with PE leadership.
• Identify, design, and implement creative supply chain solutions.
• Develop transformation plans and estimate benefits (OPEX / inventory).
• Communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders and clients.
