Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to lead and execute transformation initiatives for private equity portfolio companies across the U.S. You will analyze networks, costs, and inventories, drive cost out opportunities, and support multi‑discipline teams on complex engagements.

Applicants should have 4–7+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years of consulting or industry operating experience.
• Hands-on experience in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.
• Flexibility to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, designing, and implementing supply chain improvement opportunities for PEPI portfolio companies.
• Analyze network design, cost structures, and inventory flows to optimize service and cost.
• Support sourcing events for transportation and warehousing including RFI/RFP processes.
