Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate for Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to work on Private Equity Performance Improvement engagements across the U.S. This role focuses on designing and implementing supply chain improvements for portfolio companies, including network design, inventory optimization, and transportation strategies.

You will collaborate with PE leadership, model network scenarios, and support sourcing events with 3PLs, while traveling as required for project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4-7+ years of consulting or industry operating experience
• Hands-on experience in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing, 3PL operating experience, production and inventory planning

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering large, complex client engagements by working with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement supply chain improvements.
• Analyze supply chain network design, warehouse and distribution costs, inventory flows and service levels.
• Support in sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing, including RFI/RFP processes and 3PL negotiations.
