Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Corporate Transactions Group in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Associate to support financial due diligence for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions. You will analyze financial statements, assess earnings quality, and prepare reports for client leadership, collaborating across teams to deliver actionable insights.

With at least 3 years of relevant experience and a CPA or equivalent, you will mentor junior staff and help drive project work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of financial accounting due diligence experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or related major.
• CPA or CPA-equivalent credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with core financial due diligence and identify key risks and potential deal breakers.
• Analyze detailed financial statements and synthesize data for client discussions.
• Assess the quality of earnings, net assets and cash flows.
• Prepare deal-oriented reports and presentations for clients with key findings and valuation drivers.
• Engage with target management and client personnel on day-to-day execution matters.
• Mentor CTG associates and analysts and participate in training initiatives.
• Coordinate with other A&M service groups during engagements.
• Support business development opportunities.
