Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director for Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence in Los Angeles. You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, assess earnings quality, cash flows, and working capital, and guide junior staff on complex deals.

You will work across industries with a strong emphasis on delivering value to private equity and corporate clients, leveraging cross-functional TAG and firm resources. A&D and career growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and/or related major.
• CPA certification or in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Lead client and lender discussions effectively.
• Oversee all deal aspects with limited guidance from MDs.
• Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Identify transaction risks and address them.
• Generate full due diligence reports.
• Lead Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Maintain regular client communication on engagement matters.
• Proactively recruit, train, and develop TAG staff.
• Support sales pursuits and cross-sell TAG services.
