Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc.'s PGIM division in Newark, NJ is seeking an Investment Operations professional to support PGIM's Alternative Investment Operations platform, covering Asset Based Finance (ABF) and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan strategies.

The role collaborates with Portfolio Management, Deal Teams, Legal, Fund Management, counterparties, custodians, trustees, and agent banks to ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions and ongoing portfolio support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services.
• Experience supporting Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Private Credit, or Restructures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Actively facilitate deal execution with deal teams, counsel, fund management and stakeholders.
• Capture and maintain trading activity in OMS, ensuring accurate IBOR positions.
• Manage end-to-end wire payment processes for deal funding and settlement.
• Coordinate and execute private asset transfers.
• Manage daily cash forecasting and positioning.
• Research issues, resolve cash and position breaks with stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for decision-making.
• Identify process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.
