Job summary

PGIM, a global asset manager, seeks a Senior Director to support the Asset-Based Finance (ABF) platform. The role intersects investment management, transaction execution, portfolio management, and client engagement, requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Hybrid model with 3 days in Newark, NJ and 2 days remote. Responsibilities include portfolio management, capital allocation, transaction support, and client discussions to grow ABF mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in portfolio management support, structured products, private credit, asset-based finance, or fixed income.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Expertise in Excel, financial model, Bloomberg, Intex, Aladdin, or similar investment platforms.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio construction, investment pacing and monitoring of exposures across ABF strategies.
• Coordinate trade bookings and ensure investments are reflected across portfolios and accounts.
• Support transaction execution from investment approval through closing and funding.
• Coordinate operational workflows for new investments, including trade booking and funding mechanics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate bookings, reporting metrics, and settlement monitoring.
• Assist with rate hedging and portfolio-level risk-management activities.
• Support discussions with clients regarding capital allocations and opportunities to expand ABF mandates.
