Job summary

Prudential’s PGIM division is seeking a seasoned Investment Operations professional to support the Alternative Investment Operations platform. The role emphasizes operational oversight across asset-based finance and mortgage whole loan strategies, coordinating with portfolio managers, legal, fund management, and external counterparties to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

The position is based in Newark, NJ, with a hybrid schedule (three days in the office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of Financial Services experience.
• Experience with Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Private Credit, or Restructures.
• Strong MS Office skills and data handling.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong judgment and communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate deal execution with deal teams, counsel, fund management and stakeholders.
• Capture and maintain primary/secondary market trading activity in the OMS.
• Manage end-to-end wire payment processes for funding and settlement.
• Coordinate and execute private asset transfers.
• Manage daily production including cash forecasting and positioning.
• Investigate and resolve cash/position breaks with stakeholders.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive automation.
