Job summary

Bozzuto in Alexandria, VA is seeking an Assistant General Manager (Senior Assistant Property Manager) to lead teams, drive guest relations, and manage daily operations within apartment communities.

You will oversee rent collection, tours to boost occupancy, and brand‑standard upkeep while coaching staff; weekend coverage is required 1–2 weekends per month. This role offers growth within Bozzuto’s dynamic property management platform.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in property management, hospitality or retail preferred.
• Exposure to rent collection, budgeting and accounts receivable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with social media platforms and creating engaging content.
• Professional appearance and client-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto core values and culture.
• Collect rent, post receipts and manage delinquency to meet financial objectives.
• Conduct tours to achieve occupancy and secure new leases.
• Coach team members and cover for the GM when not present.
• Maintain property appearance and ensure brand standards are met.
• Assist with weekend staffing, 1-2 weekends per month.
