Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an experienced lender focused on asset-based lending. The role emphasizes developing new ABL opportunities, leading client calls with banking partners, and building long-term relationships with clients and referral sources.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in asset-based and commercial lending, with strong credit and diligence skills, and a bachelor’s degree in business. Travel to markets will be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in asset based lending and commercial lending.
• Prior ABL origination and portfolio management experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new ABL opportunities through networking, referrals and banker outreach.
• Lead client and prospect calls with commercial and corporate banking partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and referral sources.
• Create pitch books and executive summaries before client calls.
• Evaluate potential transactions based on limited information.
• Lead diligence and credit screening memos for new and existing clients.
• Monitor pipeline from prospecting to closing and ensure timely deal flow.
• Coordinate with underwriting and originations support staff to develop screening memos and credit packages.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline with calls and deal updates.
• Travel to designated markets to pitch and network.
