Job summary

Texas Capital Bank in Dallas seeks a seasoned Asset-Based Lending (ABL) professional to lead business development and credit assessment. You will identify and pursue ABL opportunities, lead client calls with banking partners, and build relations with clients, brokers, and accountants.

The role requires 7+ years in asset-based/commercial lending, a Bachelor's in business, and formal credit training. Travel to designated markets and collaboration with underwriting teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of asset-based or commercial lending experience.
• Experience in ABL origination and portfolio management preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; formal credit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and pursue new ABL opportunities through networking and banker outreach.
• Lead client and prospect calls with commercial banking partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, prospects and referral sources.
• Prepare pitch books and executive summaries before client calls.
• Evaluate potential transactions based on limited information.
• Lead diligence and credit discussions for initial deal assessment.
• Prepare credit packages and screening memos for new and existing clients.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline with calls and deal flow.
• Travel to designated markets to pitch opportunities and expand networks.
