Job summary

NEWSOFT CONSULTANTS is recruiting a Staff Design Engineer (physical design preferred) in the United States. The role spans frontend and backend design flows, with potential focus on RTL, synthesis, place-and-route or physical design depending on experience.

You will collaborate with hardware, AI and software teams to translate real-world ASIC workflows into capable, automated and validated capabilities within our flagship product.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in one or more stages of the ASIC design flow.
• Strong understanding of the ASIC lifecycle and frontend/backend interaction.
• Experience with Cadence, Synopsys or Siemens environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASIC design flow expertise across frontend and backend stages.
• Contribute to RTL design, simulation, verification, synthesis and timing closure.
• Work with EDA tools to define inputs, outputs, constraints and reports.
• Develop automated workflows for design tasks and validation.
• Create reference designs, test cases, and implementation flows.
• Define design constraints and diagnostic reporting for platform.
• Collaborate across hardware, AI and software teams for end-to-end flow.
