Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) under the GLASS team, with assignments CONUS and OCONUS, including Zagan, Poland. The role requires an active DoD secret clearance, US citizenship, and a strong background in Army logistics and procurement.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Army logistics experience or related experience with a High School Diploma and 10 years.
• 5 years of pre-award procurement experience: analyzing and documenting requirements, revising performance work statements, procurement/project planning and tracking procurement activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.).
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and information to customers and Government staff on requirements packet generation and reviews.
• Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at daily operations and staff meetings.
• Possibly lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to the requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and PMO staff.
• Analyze monthly workload projections and determine previous quarter workload and future projections.
• Review analysis projections and consider adjustments such as troop surge or seasonal requirements.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on project schedules and performance metrics.
