Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr Sales Manager to lead the US Army sales team and drive cloud-enabled capabilities across defense engagements. You will partner with AWS sales, business development and solutions architecture to advance revenue growth and lighthouse opportunities.

You will engage with Army senior leaders on IT modernization, size the TAM, and build a robust pipeline with ISVs and SIs to secure long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS US Army sales team and drive strategy and execution.
• Engage with US Army senior leaders on IT modernization strategies.
• Define and execute a strategic market plan for the US Army with internal stakeholders.
• Define and size the TAM for the US Army; identify and engage key customers and partners.
• Build and support the business development pipeline with prospects and industry partners.
• Present reviews to AWS senior management on progress and strategic recommendations for expanding market reach.
• Manage high-volume engagements and customer interactions in the cloud market.
• Lead and allocate resources for the account executive team to meet goals and quotas.
