Job summary
Amazon AWS is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage strategic relationships with U.S. Army tactical and expeditionary organizations, including XVIII Airborne Corps and USAREUR-AF.
The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with travel CONUS and Europe. Primary duties include building executive relationships with military leadership, shaping account strategies, and driving AWS adoption across complex mission environments while aligning with Army modernization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development
- Bachelor's degree required
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Account Executive for U.S. Army tactical and expeditionary accounts with focus on XVIII Airborne Corps and USAREUR-AF
- Build executive-level relationships with generals and senior civilian decision-makers
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligning to Army modernization priorities
- Drive AWS revenue across commercial cloud, tactical edge, and emerging mission use cases
- Navigate DoW acquisition processes including OTAs and ECMA coordination
- Orchestrate cross-functional AWS teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Translate field requirements into AWS product and service roadmap inputs
- Coordinate with defense partners on joint solutions addressing modernization priorities
