Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID seeks a Senior Wet Etch Equipment Engineer focused on safety and quality to install, maintain, optimize, and develop wet etching equipment for high-quality semiconductor components.

You will work with process engineers, tackle equipment issues, drive maintenance strategies, and contribute to achieving efficiency and yield targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in industry as Equipment Owner with Wet Process Equipment.
• BS or MS in Engineering; equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years industry experience.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify industry-leading wet process equipment in a new cleanroom.
• Maintain and analyze wet process equipment performance, including preventive/corrective maintenance and documentation.
• Collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related production issues.
• Manage projects to close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.
• Establish vendor relations and drive best-in-class equipment metrics.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies.
