Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Senior Architectural Associate to advance architectural projects, lead technical design work, and drive coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes design development, construction documentation, and code compliance, supporting licensure progression and project leadership.

Ideal candidates have a NAAB-accredited degree and at least three years of relevant experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Education: B.Arch or M.Arch from a NAAB-accredited institution.
• Experience: minimum three (3) years of job-related experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Active in the AXP program and pursuing ARE.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews design computations, drawings, and plans to ensure technical accuracy.
• Manages and coordinates project submissions and submittals, maintaining timelines.
• Develops and reviews detailed specifications, technical reports, and correspondence.
• Conducts field inspections to verify design intent and code compliance.
• Applies building codes and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and technical excellence.
• Promotes QA/QC processes to minimize design errors and omissions.
• Monitors project budgets and schedules for resource efficiency.
• Communicates progress and aligns with client objectives through design solutions.
• Provides mentorship and technical support to Architectural Associates and interns.
