Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to apply advanced architectural principles, complete design calculations, and prepare detailed plans and reports. The role emphasizes autonomous work and significant project decisions with managerial guidance as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of ten years in architecture and drafting, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Ten years of architecture and drafting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Writes specifications, reviews submittals, and coordinates project submission.
• Coordinates preparation of advanced multi-discipline drawing sets with staff.
• Supports QA/QC processes to improve deliverable quality and reduce errors.
• Reviews and coordinates other staff work prior to submission.
• Researches and understands code compliance requirements.
• Independently creates standard details under supervisor guidance.
• Assists with design calculations, quantity estimates, and cost estimates.
