Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to apply advanced architectural principles, produce design calculations, reports, plans and details. The role will primarily operate autonomously with decisions subject to supervisor approval.

Candidates should have a bachelor''s or master''s in a technical discipline and a minimum of ten years in architecture and drafting, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, Photoshop and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Technical discipline preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in architecture and drafting.
• Licensure/Certification: n/a

Responsibilities

• Writes specifications, reviews submittals, and coordinates project submission.
• Coordinates the preparation of advanced multi-discipline drawing sets with technical, administrative, and other design staff as required for assigned projects.
• Promotes, utilizes, and supports QA/QC processes to improve the quality of deliverable and reduce design errors and omissions
• Reviews and coordinates other staff work prior to submission.
• Researches and understands code compliance requirements
• Independently creates standard details that might be required for a project under the guidance of the supervisor.
• Assists with and performs design calculations, calculates quantities, reviews technical specifications, and prepares cost estimates.
