Larson Design Group in Harrisburg is seeking a Senior Architectural Associate to advance design, develop construction documents, and ensure code compliance on complex projects.

You will lead design computations, coordinate submissions, mentor Architectural Associates and interns, and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes; NAAB-accredited degree and 3+ years required; proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Arch or M.Arch from NAAB-accredited program.
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• Active in the AXP program and pursuing ARE.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and reviews design computations, drawings, and plans to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project objectives.
• Manages and coordinates project submissions and submittals, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project timelines.
• Develops and reviews detailed specifications, technical reports, and correspondence, ensuring clarity and precision in all project documentation.
• Conducts field inspections to verify design intent, quality, and compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Applies in-depth knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and technical excellence.
• Promotes and upholds QA/QC processes to enhance deliverable quality and minimize design errors and omissions.
• Monitors assigned project budgets and schedules, ensuring resource efficiency and adherence to project constraints.
• Supports project leadership by effectively communicating progress, identifying challenges, and ensuring client objectives are met through thoughtful design solutions.
• Provides mentorship, guidance, and technical support to Architectural Associates and interns, fostering professional growth, design proficiency, and continuous learning.
