NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Senior Architect to join our Civic & Justice Practice in Pleasanton, CA. You will develop solutions to technical problems and lead multiple projects through design, CDs, and construction administration as part of a project team.

The ideal candidate has broad experience in programming, master planning, design development, 3D modeling, and knowledge of ADA and life-safety codes. CA license is required, and prior Civic & Justice project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Active California architect license required.
• Experience with Civic & Justice projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and construction documents for complex projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project.
• Mentor staff and share knowledge across the studio.
• Lead more complex projects and oversee QA.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility, and standards.
