Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an Architect to join the Civic & Justice Practice in Costa Mesa, CA. You will lead multiple projects through design, CD/CA production, and construction administration as part of a project team, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Experience in civic and justice facilities is required. You will contribute to programming, master planning, and presentations, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a collaborative approach to delivering

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop and Revit.
• Knowledge of building regulations, life safety codes and ADA.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with project coordination and design development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design phases and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Review drawings, sign and seal when appropriate, and handle RFIs.
• Attend meetings and site visits; mentor junior staff.
