Job summary

NELSON in the Civic & Justice Practice seeks an Architect to lead design through CD/CA, coordinate with clients and consultants, and deliver construction documents for civic facilities, including courthouses and detention centers. 7+ years' experience and architectural licensure required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of experience in architecture and design.
• Architectural license in at least one state.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical questions for projects.
• Prepare Concept, Schematic Design, DD, and CD drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with codes and accessibility standards.
