Job summary

NELSON is seeking an Architect to join the Civic & Justice Practice in San Francisco. You will lead multiple projects through design, construction documents, and construction administration as part of a project team, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, producing CDs, and ensuring QA through each phase. The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, strong communication skills, and a track record of leading design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Architectural license in at least one state.
• 7+ years of architectural experience with Civic & Justice projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with design development and construction documentation.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects through design, CD, and CA.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Develop design concepts and oversee production of construction documents.
• Mentor staff and manage project team delivery.
• Ensure QA procedures and regulatory compliance.
