TekWissen is seeking a Senior Architect for the Enterprise Chat Platform to lead architecture design, implementation, and optimization across chat and IVR channels.

You will steer cloud-native solutions on GCP, leverage Dialogflow, AI Agents, and Genesys integrations, mentor engineering teams, and ensure scalability, low latency, and reliability while aligning with business goals.

This remote contract role spans 12 months with a competitive hourly rate of $90–$100.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in IT disciplines (software, architecture, or cloud infra).
• Minimum 5+ years translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Conversational AI on Google Cloud (Dialogflow, GECX, AI Agents).
• Experience integrating chat platforms with enterprise contact centers (Genesys).
• Knowledge of health insurance or regulated industries is a plus.

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

• This job takes a lead role in designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing complex architecture strategies specifically for the enterprise Chat Platform.
• Focusing on conversational AI, scalability, and platform stability, this role ensures the completeness and integrity of system architecture by addressing stakeholder concerns, making technical trade-offs, and driving solutions for major initiatives (e.g., GECX, Dialogflow, AI Agents, and Genesys integration).
• The Senior Architect leverages deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern web technologies to enable robust business processes, guides technical teams through mentorship, and maintains cutting-edge knowledge of emerging AI and cloud trends.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Roadmap, Scope & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key business and technical stakeholders to help define and refine the product roadmap, release timelines, feature scope, and functional design for both chat and IVR channels.
• Lead Architecture Design & Strategy: Take a lead role in specifying and designing large, complex architectures, solutions, and infrastructure elements for the Chat Platform. Focus on new feature delivery, high platform availability, low latency, and long-term scalability.
• Conversational AI & Cloud Implementation: Drive the effective application of modern cloud-native technologies (e.g., GCP services, TypeScript, Node.js, Dialogflow, Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience - GECX) in solution development, ensuring practicality, fitness for purpose, and optimal resource utilization.
• Strategic Technical Decision-Making: Ensure the integrity of distributed system architectures by connecting stakeholder views, reconciling conflicting concerns, and providing definitive technical direction for initiatives such as IVA Voice, AI Agents, and Contact Center integrations (e.g., Genesys).
• Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Provide expert technical advice, coaching, and mentorship to engineers, developers, and team members. Foster a high-quality development environment and drive engineering best practices across the chat ecosystem.
• Problem Resolution & Process Improvement: Lead the resolution of complex architectural and technical challenges within the Chat Platform. Identify, propose, initiate, and lead significant improvement programs to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Requirements Definition & Communication: Select and use advanced tools and methods to establish, clarify, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements for the platform's systems and users. Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholder groups effectively.
• Emerging Technology Evaluation: Maintain in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies—particularly in AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and conversational interfaces to inform architecture development and align technical roadmaps with business strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related field.

Experience:

Required:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in an IT discipline (software engineering, system architecture, or cloud infrastructure).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience partnering with business disciplines to translate business capabilities into technical requirements.

Preferred:

• Hands‑on experience architecting and implementing Conversational AI platforms, particularly within Google Cloud's ecosystem (Dialogflow, GECX, AI Agents).
• Experience integrating chat platforms with enterprise contact center solutions (e.g., Genesys).
• Health Insurance or regulated industry business knowledge.

Technical Skills & Stack (Chat Platform Focus):

• Conversational AI & Integrations: Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX), Google Dialogflow, AI Agents, IVA Voice, Genesys Integration.
• Engineering Practices: CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive observability/monitoring/logging strategies, high-throughput/low-latency system design, application security, and authentication patterns.
