Arabella Advisors seeks a dynamic Senior Specialist (Accounts Receivable) to join our Corporate Finance team in Durham, NC or Washington, DC. The role focuses on timely AR processes, invoicing, collections, and reporting in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

The candidate will work closely with Accounting leadership, ensuring accurate month-end close and audit support while enhancing process efficiency and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent with accounting focus.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in accounts receivable.
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes including client intake, weekly and monthly invoicing, credit memos, and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve collections issues.
• Monitor project costs and assist with month-end close procedures including AR-related GL reconciliations.
• Assist with annual audit reconciliations and special projects.
