Job summary

Arabella Advisors seeks a Staff Accountant (Accounts Receivable) to join our Corporate Finance team in a hybrid role based in Durham, NC or Washington, DC. You will manage invoicing, collections, and month-end close while supporting audit processes and client financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting with AR experience, a degree in finance/accounting, and strong Excel skills. We offer a competitive benefits package and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in professional accounting, with 2+ years in accounts receivable.
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with GP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including client invoicing and collections.
• Monitor project costs and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Support annual audits and provide financial data to stakeholders.
