Qualifications

• 3+ years in collections, AR, or billing operations, prefer government or school districts.
• Proven ability to reduce AR aging and improve collections through structured outreach.
• Experience managing diverse accounts with complex approval processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; professional and relationship-focused.
• Proficient in NetSuite or a similar ERP for AR reporting and payment tracking.
• Strong organization to handle a high volume of open items.

Responsibilities

• Own AR aging across active district accounts and publish a weekly aging report.
• Lead proactive collections with defined touchpoints at Day 15, 30, 45.
• Flag accounts >60 days past due with history and recommended actions.
• Serve as intake for billing inquiries; triage and brief the Sr. Manager within 24h.
• Assist with payment setups (ACH, checks, portal) for district accounts.
• Support dispute resolution with payment history and context.
• Document disputes for legal escalations; preserve timelines.
