Job summary

WITTENSTEIN North America seeks a Sr. Application Engineer to assist customers in selecting and commissioning products for machine and process applications. You will mentor junior engineers, develop demos, and contribute to product development.

Responsibilities include responding to technical inquiries, preparing presentations, and creating modifications while coordinating with Germany for updates. Strong CAD skills and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited school in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics preferred.
• 5+ years related experience with degree, 10+ years related experience without.
• CAD design/modeling experience, preferably in Siemens NX; other CAD considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide answers to technical questions concerning the full range of products offered by WITTENSTEIN Alpha.
• Analyze customer needs and select appropriate products to satisfy applications.
• Create new part designs and product modifications following the Product Development Process.
• Collaborate with global teams to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
• Attend trainings and stay updated on product developments and technology.
