WITTENSTEIN Inc. in Bartlett, IL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, implement, and optimize processes for mechatronic systems. You will ensure equipment operation, manage tools/fixtures, and support product development from design to manufacture.

The role requires machining expertise, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with FMEA, DoE, Process Mapping and SPC; periodic travel to Germany is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in machining processes and equipment.
• FMEA, DoE, Process Mapping and SPC knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and financial reports (ROI, budgets).
• German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute manufacturing processes for parts, assembly, and testing.
• Ensure operation and maintenance of equipment, tools, fixtures, and work holding.
• Support product development and design-to-manufacture.
• Create training materials and process documentation.
• Establish maintenance plans to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA on development of quality/inspection processes.
