Citi is seeking an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to drive design, development, and support of CitiFTP applications and data solutions across global teams. You will provide hands-on leadership across SDLC, partner with business, product, and architecture groups, and steer platform modernization, scalability, and operational excellence in a complex financial services environment.

Qualifications

6+ years in application development or software engineering.
Hands-on Java, Python, and PySpark in enterprise apps.
Advanced SQL with performance tuning and analysis.
Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Impala, HDFS.
Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.
Designing scalable architectures, APIs, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, implementation and support of CitiFTP apps and data solutions.
Partner with stakeholders and architects to deliver platform enhancements.
Lead all SDLC phases including requirements, design, testing, deployment and support.
Drive platform modernization, scalability and operational excellence.
Establish standards, code reviews, and testing practices.
Mentor developers and analysts across regions; manage cross‑functional teams.
