Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced Application Development & Technical Leadership professional in Irving, TX to lead design, development, and support of CitiFTP applications and data solutions. You will partner with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, and Technology to deliver strategic capabilities and platform enhancements.

This role requires strong Java, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Hadoop expertise, along with leadership across SDLC, incident management, and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience.
Strong hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, and PySpark; enterprise-grade apps and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of CitiFTP applications and data solutions.
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and technology teams to deliver strategic capabilities and platform enhancements.
Provide technical leadership across all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Ensure designs align with Citi's enterprise architecture standards and roadmaps.
Drive platform modernization and scalability for Treasury transformation objectives.
Establish and promote development standards, coding best practices, testing methodologies, and design principles.
