Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst (Vice President) in Irving, TX, hybrid. You will lead design, development, and production support for CitiFTP applications and data solutions, working with a global team while remaining hands-on with Java, Python, PySpark, and Hadoop ecosystem.

You will partner with Treasury, Finance, and Architecture to modernize platforms, ensure security and reliability, drive incident resolution, and promote coding

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in application development, software engineering, systems analysis, or related technology roles.
• Strong hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, and PySpark, including designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience performing complex data analysis, query optimization, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong experience working with Hadoop ecosystem technologies including Hive, Spark, Impala, HDFS, and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of strategic CitiFTP applications and data solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and technology teams to deliver business capabilities and platform enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Drive platform modernization and scalability initiatives in alignment with Treasury transformation objectives.
