Job summary

Ascension Health in Austin, TX is seeking an on-site IT specialist to provide real-time radiology PACS support across multiple local sites, ensuring no diagnostic delays. You will manage workstations, coordinate onboarding, and resolve imaging software issues with clinical leaders.

In this role you will conduct system testing, lead downtime procedures during major incidents, and collaborate with biomedical and field service teams to maintain patient data integrity and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical application support for enterprise radiology PACS platforms, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations.
• Ability to travel between local healthcare facilities to provide multi-site clinical support.
• Experience with on-site real-time technical support and incident response within SLA targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, on-site technical support to radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams across multiple local sites to prevent diagnostic delays.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Work Experience

• Proven professional experience providing technical application support for enterprise radiology PACS platforms, DICOM workflows, and EHR integrations.
• Working knowledge of voice recognition reporting systems, image-sharing platforms, or diagnostic reading workstation hardware.
• Ability to maintain a physical presence and travel between local healthcare facilities to provide multi-site clinical support.
