Job summary

Fairstead is seeking a Service Manager to supervise the repair and maintenance of the company’s properties. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, ensure clean and safe premises, and drive operational efficiency in line with safety standards.

The role requires 3 years in property maintenance, strong trades knowledge, and hands-on leadership. A good command of MS Office and familiarity with Yardi are pluses. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Knowledge and experience using a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Great organization and project management skills.
• Able to implement and improve policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Being knowledgeable in Yardi Software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of other maintenance employees.
• Taking a leadership position on special projects.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
• Occasional need to work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
