Job summary

Fairstead ESC LLC is seeking a Service Manager to supervise repair and maintenance of Fairstead’s properties, ensuring timely installation of mechanical equipment and upkeep to maintain operational effectiveness.

You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, keep spaces clean and safe per safety policies, and coordinate with teams on routine and urgent needs, sometimes overtime for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in property maintenance.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Knowledge and experience using a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Great organization and project management skills.
• Able to implement and improve policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Yardi Software and Realpage a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of other maintenance employees.
• Taking a leadership position on special projects.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Proficient in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Work independently on routine projects and receive assistance for more complex projects.
• Occasional need to work overtime for special projects or emergencies.
