Jobot is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist in Long Beach, CA to manage the full-cycle AP process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring accuracy and timely vendor payments.

The role supports month-end close, maintains vendor files, reconciles AP subledger to the general ledger, and collaborates with project managers and accounting staff. This is an on-site position in Long Beach with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle AP and vendor invoice processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to code invoices correctly.
• Experience with month-end close and AP accruals.
• Excellent communication with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP from invoice receipt to payment.
• Review and code vendor/subcontractor invoices.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs.
• Obtain approvals prior to payment.
• Prepare checks and process weekly payment runs.
• Maintain vendor files and W-9s.
• Reconcile AP subledger to GL and support month-end close.
