Job summary

Erie Home is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable to lead the AP function and drive scalable operations. You will shape policies, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure timely payments and strong controls.

You will manage an AP team across a high-volume environment, partner on process improvements, and advance automation while maintaining compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree.
• 8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable or finance operations experience with leadership.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, internal controls, and related accounting activities.
• Experience leading teams and developing employees.
• Experience with process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads Accounts Payable function, setting priorities and operating practices for high-volume payment operations.
• Develops and coaches AP team, ensuring performance and retention.
• Implements AP policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Monitors KPIs like payment lead time and late payments to drive improvements.
• Leads continuous improvement with cross-functional partners to streamline processes and automation.
• Oversees payment runs, vendor onboarding, and related AP activities.
• Supports financial close, reconciliations, and reporting within AP.
