If you are a high-performing Accounts Payable Manager ready to elevate your career and step into a broader financial leadership role, this is your next big move. This position puts you at the helm of our core AP and payment operations while giving you strategic, direct exposure to treasury management, enterprise banking systems, and workflow automation.
Rather than managing standard transaction processing, you will serve as the primary AP authority and a strategic partner to FP&A, Accounting, and Procurement. You will lead multi-entity payment operations, master enterprise banking platforms, optimize working capital through AP analytics, and design scalable, automated workflows for a dynamic, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end multi-entity AP workflows, approval hierarchies, 3-way invoice matching, and month-end closing procedures while managing offshore shared-services teams. Leverage AP aging analyses and liability schedules to drive working capital strategy and directly inform executive cash forecasting.
- Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for core procurement and payment software, corporate card programs, and vendor management systems. Drive full automation across payment workflows, eliminate manual touchpoints, enforce compliance, and resolve complex system exceptions.
- Oversee daily banking operations as primary platform administrator—managing user security entitlements, wire/ACH batch releases, Positive Pay exceptions, and fraud prevention measures.
- Deliver high-visibility reporting on AP performance, vendor analytics, commercial card activity, commissions, and international shipments. Manage statement reconciliations for key corporate vendor programs.
- Author robust SOPs, mentor AP team members, establish cross-training frameworks, and spearhead continuous process improvements across shared services and corporate finance.
Who You Are
- Experienced AP Leader: 7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and Finance Operations, including 3+ years directly managing teams (with experience supervising offshore or shared-services personnel preferred), multi-entity payment environments, and robust internal controls (including 3-way matching and PO compliance).
- Demonstrated success managing vendor payment software, corporate card programs, and enterprise banking portals, paired with advanced Excel skills and strong internal control fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience, paired with a strong foundational mastery of AP and an eagerness to leverage that expertise into corporate treasury, process automation, and strategic finance (manufacturing or multi-site experience is a plus).
