Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).
• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and expense classification.
• Experience handling high-volume AP operations.
• Experience documenting procedures, controls and guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment and reconciliation.
• Review invoice coding and approvals for policy compliance and proper accounting treatment.
• Differentiate between COGS, operating expenses, capex, prepaid assets, and accruals.
• Partner with Accounting/Finance during month-end close for accurate AP activity.
• Analyze AP processes to drive automation and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain AP policies, workflows, and training materials.
• Monitor vendor relationships and resolve payment, invoicing, and reconciliation issues.
• Support audits and GAAP compliance; prepare AP performance reports.
• Serve as AP SME and guide stakeholders across the organization.
