Ong Human Capital Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a large AP team and ensure accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements. The successful candidate will drive AP improvements, oversee payments, and implement new AP methodologies and ERP solutions to optimize efficiency and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10 years of AP experience with at least 6 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
• Manufacturing multi-site experience.
• Experience with older ERP systems (NDS, AS400) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable Team: lead and mentor a large AP team, providing guidance and support.
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure efficient processing of all AP transactions.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to improve productivity and accuracy.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensure proper coding and approvals.
• Resolve discrepancies and inquiries related to vendor invoices while ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve billing or account issues promptly.
• Monitor vendor accounts for overdue payments, discrepancies and potential fraud.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of payments (checks, ACH, wire, cards).
• Monitor cash flow to ensure funds are available for operations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and reduce processing time.
• Implement new technologies or systems to improve AP efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing staff on AP systems and policies.
• Stay updated on AP technology trends and recommend improvements.
• Must have ERP system implementation experience.
• Bring new AP methodologies and procedures to the team.
