Job summary

AV in California seeks an Accounts Payable Manager to lead day-to-day AP operations, manage the AP team, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices, supplier payments, and reimbursements.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, AP, this hands-on leader balances service, controls, and continuous improvement, while supporting AV's Oracle Fusion rollout across units currently in other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
• Coach AP staff; set priorities, balance workloads, provide training, and foster a service-oriented team.
• Manage invoice intake, coding, PO matching, approvals, and payment processing.
• Review AP aging, payment holds, supplier inquiries, and reimbursements; resolve escalations.
• Support check runs, ACH and wire payments, ensuring accurate execution and approvals.
• Monitor AP performance metrics and communicate results to leadership.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, Accounting and business units to resolve issues.
