Job summary

Northbound Executive Search is seeking a Senior Associate, Accounts Payable to join the Accounting team and own day-to-day AP, expense management, vendor administration, and related processes across multiple entities. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of AP transactions, expense reporting, payments, and month-end close activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience with a strong AP background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with Concur Expenses preferred; Sage Intacct experience is highly valued.
• Proficiency in Excel with data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly AP activities and expense management.
• Review and validate expense coding in Concur against the general ledger; upload data to Sage Intacct.
• Analyze Concur activity to resolve discrepancies in project codes, portfolios, and entity P&Ls.
• Oversee AP vendor invoices and ensure adherence to approval policies and internal controls.
• Prepare and execute electronic payments and apply disbursements to open invoices in Sage Intacct.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations and error corrections.
• Assist with 1099 preparation across entities and sales tax filings as needed.
• Maintain vendor accounts and documentation for tax, banking, and audit purposes.
