Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ to lead design and implementation of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges and chambers. You will work with thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems teams to define requirements and validate performance in an onsite role.

The successful candidate will guide project teams, provide technical oversight, and help shape technology roadmaps while coordinating with government programs to ensure compliance and mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience in antenna/RCS environments.
• Experience testing antennas/radomes in chambers or ranges and operating related equipment.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD security clearance and pursue program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges and chambers.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to define and validate requirements.
• Oversee deployment of new ranges/chambers and manage project tasks.
• Interface with government personnel to refine requirements and roadmaps.
