Qualifications

• Graduate of an anesthesia technician program.
• 5 years of experience supporting anesthesia clinicians.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS-C) required.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock anesthetic supplies for ORs and maintain equipment.
• Assist clinicians with patient care during induction, maintenance and emergence.
• Set up and monitor invasive monitoring devices and regional blocks.
• Transport patients and follow protocols.
• Communicate with circulating nurses and respond to codes.
• Calibrate QA analyses and troubleshoot anesthesia machines.
• Train Anesthesia Technicians.
• Ensure sterility and cleanliness of equipment.
