Strong teamwork with nurses and adherence to protocols are essential. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an anesthesia tech program and 5 years of related experience, with BLS-C certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program.
• 5 years of experience supporting anesthesia clinicians with patient care.
• Certification in BLS-C required.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Stock anesthetic supplies for ORs.
• Maintain anesthetic equipment and ensure availability.
• Assist clinicians with patient care during anesthesia.
• Induct, maintain, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia machines.
• Set up and manage anesthesia-related devices and lines.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Communicate with circulating nurses and follow protocols.

Conocimientos

5 years anesthesia experience

BLS-C certification

Basic computer skills

Educación

Graduate of Anesthesia Technician program
